Members are the "lifeline" to the preservation of Josephine County’s rich and colorful history. Will you help us preserve our history for future generations?

Your Josephine County Historical Society is an IRS 501(c) 3 tax exempt entity. We do not receive any funding from the state or county, and rely completely on the generosity of our members and benefactors.

Membership in the Josephine County Historical Society is open to anyone who appreciates the value of history enough to invest in it. Membership runs yearly starting in the month and on the day dues are received and is renewable on the same date the following year.

Benefits of membership include free research in the Research Library, a 10% discount on JCHS-printed publications purchased in our bookshop, a subscription to our newsletter, the Historian, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a contribution to preserving local history.

Members are welcome to attend the annual meeting held in November and several other events held throughout the year as listed on the Calendar of Events.
